Bridal Make-up

Sarah has worked on hundreds of brides over the past few years with requests ranging from natural to glamour and from the Jordan look to the Audrey Hepburn look. Whatever you have in mind, Sarah will listen to your ideas and will create a look that will make you feel confident and beautiful.

Trial and Consultation

A trial is essential for the bride. It ensures that you are happy with how you will look on your wedding day, that you don't have any sensitivities to the products used and that your wedding day will run smoothly with your make-up, timings and requirements arranged in advance. Your trial will last up to two hours. Members of your bridal party may join you at your trial. Please allow an extra hour for each other person requiring a trial.

If you already have some ideas for your make-up, please have photos or magazine cuttings with you to show Sarah. Sarah will chat with you about the make-up you normally wear, the style of your dress and wedding, colour themes and photography style. The finished result should feel comfortable for you, fit in with the style of your wedding and your personality, and most importantly, last all day. Individual and strip false lashes are available at extra cost.

Please note that due to wedding commitments at the weekends, trial appointments are usually only available morning and afternoon Monday-Thursday. If it is not possible for you to arrange a trial during those times Sarah will do her best to accomodate you based on existing commitments.

Your Wedding Day

On your wedding day Sarah will arrive at the time and place agreed and will usually work on other members of the bridal party before the bride. Sarah will work from the notes made at your trial but will also listen to any ideas you may have had since and will always chat to members of the bridal party that didn't have a trial to ensure she gets their make-up perfect. Your make-up should be applied after you have had your hair styled but before you get dressed. One hour will be allowed for the bride's make-up and 45 minutes each for other members of the bridal party

Assistance Service - If you require assistance with dressing, attaching your veil and other final arrangements such as packing your handbag, making phone calls, organising the bridal party, making drinks, attaching button holes, helping you and your dress into your car and locking up your house, Sarah offers an assistance service charged at £25. Sarah will stay with you for up to 45 minutes after she has finished applying your make-up and will make sure everything runs smoothly and stress free. If you wish to book this extra service, please inform Sarah of your requirements as soon as possible.

Evening Make-up Service - Evening reception make-up can also be booked for your wedding day if you wish to change your make-up for the party or would like to offer a 'freshen up' service for you and your guests. The cost of this service will be calculated based on your individual requirements and it is advisable to check with your venue to ensure that there will be a room available to offer this service in.

The full balance of your wedding make-up is payable at least seven days in advance by cheque, debit/credit card or bank transfer.
